I’ve been busy doing stuff like:
- Voluntary beekeeping for Santropol Roulant and McGill University’s urban beekeeping project
- Programming public art and events with Rue Publique (formally Car Free Mile End) to promote community reappropriation of urban space in the Mile End
- Founding and acting as Project Leader for Hitting the Benchmark, a project that links youth with sustainable design
- Contributing to the urbanist blogs TXT-Urbia and MIT’s Colab Radio
- Assisting the Program Director of the 21st World Energy Congress
- Managing clients for a best-in-class consortium of green building product manufacturers at Regenerative Ventures, lead by USGBC co-founder David Gottfried
- Acting as Vice President of Marketing for the Desautels Business Conference on Sustainability
- Developing truly green, innovatively designed, urban housing at EcoCite
- Acting as Fundraising & Events Coordinator and later sitting on the Board of Directors at Head & Hands
- Dedicated volunteer and later working as Community Organizer at Santropol Roulant
